can someone please explain the movie Mulholland Dr to me?

what happened when they turned the key to the box? everyone switched places?


what about the monster by the dumpster next to the diner? why was her there and why did that guy die? what did it matter? (I know I saw him come in when the blond girl - Diane - was arranging the others murder


what the hell was the point of the old people? why were they small at first? and why did she shoot herself? and not them?

I don't really understand the plot...and I'm usually pretty good with getting into movie's meanings...

ha! we had a lot of questions when it was over too. I don't remeber the details well enough, but this should help (we read it right after the movie)

All I can say is that it's a David Lynch movie, and if you've seen any of his other stuff (then I'm not surprised it sounds confusing!!

look at all the Lands End brides who watched Mulholland Drive...coincidence? probably...
