So, since I'm one of the weddings thats coming soon, (58 days) I have to tell you that I'm not buying the whole 'certain percentage' thing on the No responses!!!! We have not recieved one No response! Everyday we get a handful of responses and there all yes's. We were cracking up today because some of the people who we know would not bring guests are sending the responses back with guests! Some are coming from portugal and germany....I'm having a heartattack. My parents sent there response back and answered NO (as a joke)!! We guaranteed 150 so I'm not worried about that but I just don't want it to be crowded.... We still have more to go so we shall see........

It definitely depends on knowing who you're inviting. We have a huge fam and i know they're all coming. There are a few ppl that I have to invite for the sake of inviting and i'm anticipating (hoping) for a 'NO' from them
Totally subjective experience. That 20 percent doesnt work at all.

I wouldnt sweat it just yet, Im sure you will get people who wont respond at all and the NOs are probably the last round(but dont trust me I havent done this yet

my RSVP were the same..all YES at 1st...then i didnt get any for a few days and now the Nos are here. Oh and of course we have the 30-40 ppl who STILL havent sent it in....so sweet!!!!

Oh... good, I still have some hope. I mean I know we will get some, I guess its the people who we thought were not coming or were coming alone thats shocking us!!

oh pls i know the feeling....ppl who we wanted there sent No's...shocked and hurt us both! Then we get ppl who are invited alone and get an RSVP saying bringing 3!?!?! I call Alex and flip and he calls his mom and of course how can we really say NO these ppl got their tkts already to fly here!!! Its nuts!!!

Well its great, be happy that so many people want to share in ur big day with you. I cant wait till i send out invites and get responses. even if guests are crowded in the end if they have a good time they will not even remember that. Good luck with it all

how many people did you invite? I'm having the same problem. I guaranteed 150 and don't want to go over amount but our guest list is already over 200. I really hope some people opt to not bring guests.

I'm so afraid of everyone I invite will come. I have out of state relatives that said no to my cousins wedding, so they could come for mine.. It will be fun, but.. I don't want to be overcroweded yet. I will anxiously await the rsvp's

We invited 187 hoping for 150. Its the size of the room that I'm concerned with. I hate people on top of each other. 150 would be perfect. DOn't get me wrong, Its really nice everyone want to be there, I guess its our fault, we should of booked a bigger hall!!!

hey date twin...whooo hooo the day is coming. anyway, don't sweat it, you'll get some nos - I have 57 invites back so far and 40 are yes, 17 no - mostly from those we expected in fl and such...but whoo hoo for you having guests from across the sea. everything will work itself out!
