Can`t believe how long it takes...

Last night I started tying the bells to hang from the bell cards I bought with the personalized satin ribbon, and I can`t believe how long it takes .. trying to get the bow just so, so that none of the letters from the names or date aren`t hidden. This is going to take a lot longer than I originally thought. Plus, now I`m worried about how to story them so the cards don`t get crushed .. there`s going to be nearly 200! But I have to say, I do love the way they look .. and so does my fiance! :) Bells were purchased through http://www.wrapwithus.com at $4.99 per box of 24. Ribbons (25 cents each for orders over 192) were purchased through http://www.wedmart.com/bubbles/bells.htm Bell cards were purchased through a Canadian site, http://www.mystore.weddingstar.ca This is sort of what they look like .. we haven`t added roses yet .. but might... and the ribbon is shorter with our names and date on it. http://www.njsweddingshop.com/images/Favors/277.jpg

will you be handing them out at your ceremony?? they look cute!! I am thinking of doing bells..or bubbles, wanted the rose petals...but the church does not allow them :( good luck getting all of your bells done.

I know what you mean. I started making place card holders using the bells as a base and ribbon roses with the stem coiled through the hole on top with the ribbon around it. I decided it was easier to tie the ribbons seperately. Its hard to explin but it looks cute. And its definately taking more time than I thought.

They will go at each place setting at the reception. *NM*

What size bells are you using (where'd ya get 'em)?? We're thinking of doing something similar... Our place cards are business cards (they match the programs and invites), how exactly do you get the card to stay attached?? Can you let me know the specifics!? Thanks!!

I am using the same bells as Kell from WrapWithUp. 1. Take three ribbon roses and coil the stems together 2. Push the stems through the hole on top of the bell 3. Coil the stems around a pencil to form a holder for the place card 4. Tie a bow around the stems between the roses and the place card. Great Idea about the business cards I am thinking about that too. Where did you get the matching program covers/cards?
