me too!!!!! I was at TJ Maxx 2 days ago and all the Halloween decorations are out!

then again, AC Moore has had that stuff out for weeks now.

I remember last year being in some store, can't remember which one. I was in shorts and it was the beginning of September. they had Christmas stuff out!!!!!

I know! And there was some article in the newspaper saying that there were 'only' 18 weeks until X-mas!

ETA: What is wrong with people?! It's still summer!

it's really sad.... the coomercial aspect really takes away from the joy!

when I was a kid, the Christmas stuff would come out after Thanksgiving. it seems that every year they start earlier.

I rememeber that too! Actually, when I was a kid life rocked because Christmas was big, but Three Kings Day was HUGE and we would get awesome presents and be off from school from 12/20 until 1/15th!

Even when I came here, X-mas always came after Thanksgiving. Maybe in the last 5 years or so it changed. UGH!

I rememeber that too! Actually, when I was a kid life rocked because Christmas was big, but Three Kings Day was HUGE and we would get awesome presents and be off from school from 12/20 until 1/15th!

wow, that's a lot of time off from school! sweet

it really stinks the way they do thinsg now. they'll have Halloween, Thanksgiving and X-mas stuff out all at the same time. it is so not festive!

and then right after X-mas... you guessed it, Valentine's Day. Then right after that, St. Patrick's Day and Easter. between September and April we get no holiday breaks.

We were in AC Moore the other day and I couldn't get DH out of the Halloween aisle. He's planning a huge display. It was kind of cute. There was also an aisle of CHRISTMAS stuff!

Excards in sayville had a small section of x-mas stuff
