Can we brainstorm for a minute

I always joke with FH and say things like 'only 130 days till I'm a stay at home wife!'

Well, last night I was venting about work and FH said that if I get a hobby or business that brings in half of what I'm making now, I can totally stay home

I'm really considering it but what can I do? I said a doggy day care in our house but FH is not having it

Well, it's not at-home but my friend does mobile dog grooming and she makes BANK.... you can make your own hours and decide how far you want to travel

definetly consider childcare.

you can take a course at your local child care council to become certifited, and even (if your willing) open up your own home based day care. Parents pay about on average 250 a week for one child for center-based childcare, and you'll be able to make the same, if not more!!

I'm a nanny, and I love it!!!!

Yup!

I watch 16 month old twins M-F, 9-5 and make over 500 a week.

But for me it's not about the money. I've been an infant/toddler teacher on and off 7 years now, and just started nannying last january and love it. I've become their 3rd parent in a sense because I've watched their first crawls, first steps, heard their first words. Its so cute i've been with them since they were 4 months old. Right now, I can't imagine doing anything else

She's The Fairy Dogmother, in CT. All you have to do is take a class you don't need a license or anything I don't think.
You do have to get the special van with the sink and stuff but you pay it off quick I think... IDK, she loves it. She even bought a second van when she got married and her husband runs that one!
