Today I found out that I have the CHICKEN POX ( I never got it when I was a kid ) and then I also found out (someone slipped and told me) that my BRIDAL SHOWER was planned for TOMMORROW!!!!!!!! I feel so bad for my Mom and Sister who have been planning this for months!

Thanks girls....yes better now than right before my wedding! I feel so bad... my poor sister is calling everyone on the list leaving messages with them that it is cancelled. Well, at least I will be surprised on the next date of the shower!

That is terrible. I also got chicken pox as an adult. I was so itchy and uncomfortable and miserable. However, I had a pretty bad case. After the third day of misery, I took sleeping pills and I literally slept for 7 days straight. It probably isn't the best medical advice, but I was desparate. And be careful with the scratching because they do leave scars. Good luck Sweetie, I hope you have a super mild case.

Thank you Girls.. So far it looks it might be a mild case..... Its not too itchy yet...except on my head. I have suffered with a really high fever and body aches the past few days and now the bumps are poping up all over. I hate this!

OMG I hope you feel better!!! I had it when I was 5 and it s ucked then, I can't even imagine having it as an adult!!!
But better to have it now than right before your wedding day!!!
