Re: Can you breathe in your dress???
I have a second fitting tonight, so I can let you know tomorrow. When I went for my first fitting though, it was VERY tight....I couldn't breathe. They told me I was fat, when in actually I had lost 8 pounds. My MOH and I concluded that when you try the dress on in the store, the sample is 'stretched out' from everone trying it on. When they order one for you, no one has worn it yet...thus...it's snug. Plus David's put me in this 3 inch thick longline, which added inches to me. So I most likley will just wear my strapless. I'm totally stressing out about tonight though....

Re: Can you breathe in your dress???
my dress was fine. But I had to wear a strapless bridesmaid dress last year and it was really really tight on my back and made it hard to breath, but the boob area was still sticking out slightly and would fall if I lifted my arms. Im thinking they just didn't fit it right.

LOL i love some of these comments, lol what we go through for one day!!! I want my dress to be fitted on top so I am going to suffer but I also agree that with the running around of the next 2 weeks I am sure it will get a little loser and def. will stretch after a little wearing I am sure!!

Im not fitted yet...but I hope it will be..think of it this way at least you wont be pulling your dress up all night (Ive seen alot ofbrides do this)
I had the same reaction. My dress is PERRRRFECT. It's a corset top and I definitely wanted it to be as tight as they could pull it, because it's a tube top and i do not wanna be pulling it up all night. But, yeah, I'm not sure how much I'll be EATING in that dress

I really couldnt easily breathe but I wanted it that way because I knew the more I moved in it, it would stretch. And it did start fittng more comfortably later on. It also held in my stomach after I stuffed my face

you'll be okay Jen!!
You're right tho, i never thought about how stretched those store samples must be. I DID, however, also wonder about those thick 'corsets' they put you in. I was nervous too about it adding inches. lol.

Re: Can you breathe in your dress???
yes mine did also! The funny part is..even though it was snug..it definately could have been taken in more in the bust
