I think you can go to any town hall. We went to Babylon town hall since it was most convenient, and we live in the Town of Oyster Bay. We had no problems at all.

We went to the one in Islip and all we needed was our driver's licenses. It was so quick

You can go anywhere in NYS. J

ust call before you go to confirm their ID policies. From LIW I thought we would need a photo id and something with your SS#.

One town hall I called needed your driver's license and original SS card (which DH had misplaced) or another picture ID and they said they might accept his work ID but they would have to see it first???

We went to another one with no probs.
