I've been to at least 2 excellent weddings- which part of NJ are you looking for? I'll check with my friends- I can't remember the names offhand.
I live in NJ now and WISH I could be planning the wedding there instead of LI!! Such a pain
They probably have a nj weddings site too, I would think. I believe my friend made a mention of it when she was planning.
I'll get back to you on those names, but they were both awesome weddings.
ETA: YES!! I was at Florentine Gardens too- AWESOME wedding. Great food, amazing service, beautiful place.
Still have to check on the other one- will do a search!!

Florentine Gardens is beautiful. Also the Ventian is really nice. Both are a bit pricey.
I wouldnt recommend the Graycliff or Colonial Inn -- Colonial Inn had terrible food when FH and I went for a tasting and the Graycliff's CH room faces the parking lot (so its not too pleasing to the eye).
Also -- we fell in love with this one but couldnt afford it -- Rockleigh Country Club in Northvale, NJ is absolutely stunning.
The Tides Estate is also really nice. The ballroom is huge, the grounds are very nice, the bridal suite is beautiful and the food selection is plentiful. This place runs alittle cheaper than the others.

I visited the Valley Regency in Clifton. It was very elegant and they do only one wedding at a time.

DH and I went to a wedding at The Tides in North Haledon, NJ. The place was very nice and we had a great time! The food was good too!

The Shadowbrook - not sure what town but it was Central Jersey but not too far of a drive from New York. It was gorgeous, amazing outdoor coctail hour and the room was L shaped which I really liked. Amazing food too!
