can you recommend a hall?please help

I'm looking for a place that does small receptions up to 75, in li or queens that charges 40pp including tax and gratuity preferably in warm times. thanks all, we are working with a very small budget. We still want a classy place for 2006.

I'm not sure exactly what halls might be able to do this--are you privy to day or evening? Evening is generally more expensive than the day. You might also consider a restaurant rather than a hall. Sorry I can't give any specifics, but with more detail, you might be luckier! Good Luck!

good luck, sorry I cannot be of any help. I think maybe a restaurant will be your best bet to get that kind of price in a warm time of year.

Good Luck

well it can be in the afternoon either sunday or saturday or friday night, depending which is the cheaper for a buffet.

try LaParma in Oceanside, or it might be Rockville Centre. it is a restaurant with a private party room, not sure how many it holds. a friend of mine got married there. the food is really good! good luck

You might want to try Dante's in Jackson Heights Queens. That might be within your budget if you stick to a Saturday afternoon or maybe a friday night.

Caffe on the Green in Bayside is pretty nice, and the food it really good.

Try the Milleridge Inn. It was very reasonable. Unfortunately it wouldn't hold my 125 people but it would be perfect for you.

Milleridge Inn

They have three different menus...start with the two start if it's too costly then move down to the one star. They are even nice enough to give you the prices online.

Goodluck sweetie!

I was also going to suggest Dantes or Douglaston Manor which offers packages.

Le Cordon Bleu on jamaica Ave. I think they run about $35 p/p. My parents got married there, and I've been there for some family events and the decor isn't the best, but the food and service are great!

Unfortunately neither the Milleridge Cottage nor Carriage House will be that inexpensive, especially during warm times of year. You could possibly get a private room in their restaurant though.

Try Bruno's on the Boulevard in Queens. I think they are about $40-$60 per person depending on what you choose.

Try Bella Verde. They are in Deer Park, I think and vendor on LIW. Their prices are the same year round. Very nice place and family owned.

Verdis in Whitestone can accomodate you. I got the quote in August when I was looking for a place to hold our party next year. Also try Huntington townhouse. It wont be 40 but closer to 45-50 plus tax and grtas. Also try cold booking. You have been asking about this since I have been a member so maybe you have some flexibility that we dont since you are already married and want to renew your vows..just call them up and see what dates they can give you the best deal on.

oh and why not look around and see if there are any places that will let you pay a rental fee and you can have your fave restaurant cater. Tbables and chaird for 75 isnt that bad. You can do a buffet that way you wont need too much wait staff if any and someone(s) to man the bar. Peole come to share your day and as long as there is good food and liquor trust me..all will be fine.

for the price you're looking at you might want to consider a weekday reception. some of the local country clubs or golf courses offer small intimate affairs for the price your looking for but it would have to be during the week and in daytime ours. or even a sunday brunch type deal would work as well.
