Marian Keyes books - kinda similar to Bridget Jones, all her books are about single life in London. Some are better than others but perfect for train reading.

I am reading a great book now, called Tell No One by Harlan Coben. When my train got in this morning, I was actually annoyed b.c I wanted to keep reading

Its a mystery/thriller, lots of plot twists.

The Red Tent (although not my favorite, but people love it)
The Pact
Plan B
Dating Big Bird
Good in Bed

Also, Jane Green is also good author, more Brit 20-somethings type books.

I have a friend that just got his book published. Its called The Rocking Chair by Vincent Scialo.
It is available at Amazon (and if your in Penn Station they carry it in that book store)

Another author who writes about 20+ in London is Lisa Jewel

I third Harry Potter - very fun and very quick.
My other favorites right now are the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich. They are about a bumbling Bounty Hunter from NJ and they are just so funny.

I'll second the Janet Evanovich Number series - LOL FUNNY!!!!

Olivia Goldsmith has a few good ones, esp. Switcheroo and Marrying Mom.

These are all quick easy reads.

Harry Potter Series, anything james Patterson, John Sanford is good also. Wally Lamb- shes come undone. I am an avid reader and read anything let me know what you are looking for and I will try to come up with somebooks....Oh and Ken Follet is good also

HARRY POTTER!!!!!

I also recently re-read the lord of the rings trilogy (but you have to be into that to enjoy it)

and my all time favorite author is Tom Robbins. I dont know how to describe his books, but pick one up in a bookstore and read the back.... you might not put it back down! ( I recommend starting with 'Jitterbug Perfume'... thats my favorite)
