Candles during a daytime wedding?
Is this inappropriate to have (lit candles on your tables at the reception) if it is during the day?

Re: Candles during a daytime wedding?
I was unsure about this too. I ending up using them since I really liked the look and it was absolutely beautiful. You can do a search under my name and find pictures I posted of my centerpieces. Plus, my wedding was in November so by the time my reception ended, it was dark outside and it looked even more beautiful.

Re: Candles during a daytime wedding?
I dont think its inappropriate, but it wont have as intense as effect as it would at night. I think they're probably ok as a accent, but i wouldnt over do it

I did candles in the my day time wedding. It was beautiful. I also had floral centerpieces. I had two long candles on each table.

Re: Candles during a daytime wedding?
I don't think its inappropriate, but I wouldn't do it. Somehow lit candles during the daylight hours doesn't sound good to me when I visualize it.

Re: Candles during a daytime wedding?
I think that it depends on your location. If you are in a room with lots of windows and sunlight, then maybe not. If your room is on the darker side with no windows then candles are great.

Re: Candles during a daytime wedding?
I think candles are very nice no matter what time of day. The effect may not be as dramatic if the room is very bright but, it will still look nice. I burn candles all the time, I like the look of them.LOL
