My FH did something very similar to this for our E-party. One of my fave places in the city is Dylans, so he called them and had them cater it. They did a stunning CP of candy buckets, all filled with everything from swedish fish, to sour patch kids, to gummy worms, to runts, etc...
It was spectacular !!!!
The best part was, at the end of the night, everyone got to take one of the buckets home as a gift![]()

We bought all our containers, but won't be getting the candy until maybe like 2 weeks before hand so that it doesn't get stale. I'm planning on getting the containers from papermart.com but still can't decide what to actually get.
In terms of candy, I'm going to get enough to fill up the containers. It's all about how it looks visually w/ the candy buffets IMO.
My containers are really big, so I might use sugar, marshmallows, etc., as fill up space on the bottom :)
