I had wanted apple red...

No one bought anything yet and I haven't even met with a florist, so it's not a big deal if I change my mind about the color.

The linens at my hall will be off-white lace. That will NOT change because those are included in the price and I am not going to pay for linens...

But, I recently saw photos of cakes decorated with blue icing and I thought they looked SO nice. I also saw floral arrangements with white roses and light blue hydrangea that I also thought looked awesome!!!

But, I also like apple-red.

i like them both- i think i would go with the light blue- i like that color for may. i think you could bring in the blue in so many ways- cake, flowers, centerpiece, invitations, placecards- it would be pretty.

just a word of caution: Light blue tends to look washed out in photos. I've been in two weddings where I've had to wear light blue.;.

I'd go with the apple - since its a blue based red and not a warm tone you can still bring in the blue accents in the cake and flowers, etc.
