cant decide what to do!!!

Im desperately trying to figure out what to do on my honeymoon....

Sandals Antigua... Stay in the new private villa with own pool and hot tub outside, jacuzzi inside... 1400 sq ft for 8k including everything... steps to the beach, ocean view

OR

Sandals Grande St Lucia- stay in the rondoval which is smaller than the above, but has all same but no view and futher from beach... 11k

Both are for a week long vacation.

I was also toying with going to Barbados for three nights, and then doing a caribbean cruise for 7 nights ...which is actually cheaper... around 7k, but not all inclusive.

What would you do!?

go on the BHB board, a girl recently wrote a bad review on sandals antigua, and some girls agreed with her on it.

We were debating about antigua too. We stayed at sandals st lucia (the regency) last november and it was amazing. Both are great options. Antigua sounds like the better deal, you get more for the money it sounds like

Well I'd say Antigua only bc it seems like a better room for your money... but from reading a bunch of stuff it seems like there's more to do in St. Lucia.

So if you're looking more at just sitting by the beach and chilling then pick Antigua, if you want to go out and do stuff St. Lucia.

(Keep in mind I've never been to either one, I'm solely basing my opinion on internet research. )

A friend of ours just had her honeymoon ther and said she would not reccomend it they said they were bored and they couldnt wait to com home

I'd say Antigua just based on price... think about what you could do with the extra money!

Ive heard mixed reviews...but what ive learned is to read the 'bad' reviews...sometimes... they may not be 'bad' to you...(Unless of course there are dirty sheets or they give you a room with no bathroom...but thats another story)

LOL i am in the same boat! We were debating over St. Lucia, Antigua, and Bahamas. FH and I were just discussing this tonight. We were leaning more towards Antigua

This probably doesn't help, but I would call my travel agent, tell her my budget and get a two week vacation!!! We're spending less than that on two weeks, two separate vacations, for our HM!! Sandals is great, but why not get MORE days for that money??

They both sound awesome, I'm just a bit thrifty . . . . .

Check out travel advisor b/c both of the Sandals you are considering have very mixed reviews. There are other all inclusive resorts on both islands that have better reviews. Check out Le Sport body holiday in St. Lucia- They have awesome reviews. FH and I are going there for vacationat the end of Aug.
