Re: CAR DETAILING QUESTION

I forgot about him!! I should have came on here first, but I dropped the car off first thing at 8am and going for it at the end of the day
they said it takes like four hours

I just want the smell gone and didnt want to wait to long, I probably could have just got it steam vac and all but it needed a detailing anyway

Re: CAR DETAILING QUESTION

Tammy too bad you didnt fm me...I would of charged you $125 for a full detail inside and out...with no tax. Ah maybe next time.....

Let me know how it comes out. What shop did you take it too?

Re: CAR DETAILING QUESTION

you know whats funny!! I had a coupon for 125 but he said thats for cars only!
that trucks are 25 extra?

wow, you would have really charged 125 for a Jeep cherokee? Its not a car? maybe next time I will! this was an emergency

I took it to creative car wash in east meadow
they are always doing details and had two cars waiting so I heard they do pretty good and it was nearby

geez and I forgot about tax

Re: CAR DETAILING QUESTION

I get between $90 and $100 for cars and $125 for trucks. The reason they charge so much is because they have to pay electric, and also pay their workers.

I work on the cars by myself and all I have to pay for is water, but it isnt that much.

If you goto a Detail shop they would charge you closer to $200 for a truck. Car Washes are usually cheaper.

Keep me in mind for the next time.
Thanks,
Scott

Re: CAR DETAILING QUESTION

Hey Scott..

Ever taken amor all out of carpet?

When I got my MX back from my friend who drove it in Texas.. the passanger side rug was extra slippery. I took a sniff and nailed it for amor all. I asked and he said a bottle opened on that side.

It sound silly but it's a pain to have it that slippery. In winter is nearly dangerous. You put your foot in and apply weight and off goes your ankel.. slip sliding away.... slip sliding away...

heh

Re: CAR DETAILING QUESTION

It is still in the rug? If it is still in the rug, I may have a chemical that can get it out...I would soak it with solvent and my secret chemical, and then I would use the carpet machine on it, and then finally vaccum....

The other night I had to get meat juices, and blood out of Danielles Mothers trunk mat. What happened is a friend of her family was moving out of his house that he shared with his ex girlfriend now...and someone put a bag of hamburger meat, a roast, and steaks into Danielles mothers trunk....That was on a saturday....the next Saturday we found it in the trunk.

I was able to get the smell off but the stain is still there.
