How many of you girls are driving to the ceremony in a car with just you and your dad? Originally I had planned to be in the limo with my bridesmaids but my dad seemed SO disappointed when i told him that. I actually ended up calling Camelot today (where we already booked the main limo) to see if we could add on. They gave me a great deal so if you're still looking def. give them a call.
Regardless, was curious how all of you were planning to do the whole transportation thing. Is it the standard to drive separately with dad or is my dad just being sentimental?!

ME & MY DADDY WILL BE DRIVING IN THE DAIMLER TO THE CHURCH. THEN MY MOTHER & HIM WILL HAVE A LIMO TO GO TO THE RECEPTION HALL. AND FH & I WILL BE IN THE DAIMLER TO TAKE PICS & THEN TO RH!

most people i know do drive with their dad to the ceremony. Actually almost everybody i know of does this and most girls on LIW ive seen have done the same.
I rode in a rolls to the church with my dad and my mom too

yeah i really didnt want one but my dad was also disappointed to hear that so i booked a rolls too, really not much money when it comes down to it, sometimes making dad happy is very important!

ok just me and my dad are driving to the church.. we are getting a big limo for the BP and another smaller limo for the parents and grandparents

My chuch is less then 5 minutes away so we arent going to bother, dad is going to ride with my and my BMs to the church in the party bus. He would not be happy if i spent money on that!

We are getting a 24 person Escalade only. It will pick up the boys and drop them off at the church and then come to my house (5 mins away) and pick up the girls, my dad and I. we thought it was one place where we could cut some corners and dad was happy with that.

I will be driving w/my dad and mom, but after the ceremony and the pictures, FH & I are ditching the antique car and riding in the escalade w/the bridal party.

I left FH in charge of this so. One of the chrysler 300's is going to pick up FH, BM(brother) & (guest), His Mom and Dad. The limo will drive them to the church. My parents house is five minutes away from the church. So then the limo will come to my parents to pick up me, moh, and my parents. We will go to the church. After the church DH and I go in one limo, and a second limo comes to take both sets of parents, the moh, the bm and his guest to the reception hall. Then DH and I get a town car or limo to take us to the hotel.

I probably will not have a seperate car for me and my father, most likely a regular limo and he will come with me and the rest of the girls (it's a long ride, we need to be entertained!). My mother will need to be driving her van to bring my grandparents, so we can't make any arrangements where either parent would be without a car.
I'm more concerned about FH, there's going to be only 4 people in a limo (i'm assuming his parents will be driving), so if we get a seperate car for us to go from church to RH, it's kind of stupid to get a limo for the 4 guys only to go to the church (entire BP will be able to fit in a 10-12 passenger limo)

Yeah I was debating that...my situation is such a mess, his sister is a BM, and there's a half hour distance between our two houses, and she doesn't drive, and I have a feeling that FMIL is going to not want her to come to my house for pics, which will be ridiculous in and of itself to not have complete BP pictures. Ugh! I really hope we have a place closer to my house by that point so they can just get ready there!
