What does everyone think? Does it draw too much attention to the cards and come across as tacky? Or, is it just more practical to have one, so no one has to worry about where to put them?

I think it's very normal to see either a bird box or cage. I was at a wedding this weekend and they forgot their's and no one knew where to put the cards. I was worried they would get lost on the gift table.
We're having a card box if that helps!

If you are worried about it drawing to much attention you can put it on a table kind of out of sight but near enough to you that people will see it.
I think it saves people from not knowing what to do with the card...we didnt have one b/c we wanted to personally say hello and TY to everyone
