I was planning on doing something with a wreath on it or a winter scene.

I wouldnt actually mind receiving some Hanukkah themed cards. it would be great to send out to some friends that I have!!

i only mentioned it, b/c I would send out 'Christmas' cards and 'Hannakuh' cards...but I would not send something that had a Bible quote on it...

oh, i do not find that acceptable for the sheer fact that most people do like those cards or are very religious.

the cards i usually send are happy holidays - nothing too one or the other.

rules:

You make one card for each person in the group, including yourself. RIght now there are 10 or 11 women interested so we can split up into 2 groups if 10 cards is more then some people want to make.

They are all sent to the hostess in ziploc bags to protect them from water damage by the due date. It is good ettiquette to include something for the hostess for doing the swapping.

You also send a pre-addressed return envelope and enough stamps to have the package returned to you. When figuring out postage to include, I add 2 stamps to what I had to pay to send the item to the hostess which have been returned if not used.

and I want to say thanks--- I have been scanning the scrapbook thread for a while now and it has caused me to finally finish my scrapbook--happy to say it is up to date (although i did cheat and leave out my shower, our wedding and honeymoon since I have a seperate album) but I am up to date on our 5 years together!!!
And now would love to get into cards!!!
I am dying to get to the store to see what is out there!!!!

sounds cool - i might want in too...but can you have a section for not so talented/new card amkers b/c i never did it before and would hate for soemone to get crappy cards from me and then i would get gorgeous ones.....i don't want enemies!!
