Hi- I wanted to post that Sheila left. I had called her to thank her for everything she did for my wedding and poof.....she was gone! It sounded to me like she was made to leave, b/c when I asked for her the woman with the pretty accent said, 'I liked Sheila, but she had to leave.' Interesting.....all I am going to say is that it wasn't right for The Carltun to not let you know, but any BM you work with from this time on, will make your wedding wonderful! Believe me, they are a fined tuned machine.....all the BM seem to be great!

Hi Ladies. I am strongly considering the Carltun but want a Sat night and their min is 185 has anyone seen them negotiate lower on the min for a sat night? Or add anything extra in or let us make up for it with choosing more extras?

Just wanted to add that the BM JoAnne is not there anymore either. My new BM is Tiffany she was very helpful when I called with questions.

I'm not discouraged that they won't find someone fabulous to replace the girls who have left. I think we are all in good hands girls, but for the time being, should I have a question.... Who should I ask for???

I am curious to see how everything is going to be handled there now.
I honestly have not been back to see any BM's since I booked. Are any of you bringing your florists in to look at the rooms? I am kind of at a loss as what to do now... I'm approaching the 5 month mark. And I feel like I've done nothing for the past few months, pretty much because I haven't. I still don't have a florist...
time to get moving...
Has anyone met with any of the new BMs?

Not even a phone call. I know I have plenty of time, but at what point does the hall start to contact you? How many months before the wedding?

They will contact you about 1/2 months ahead ( I think) to set-up an appt. for a tasting! I'm posting pics on the 05 board and there will be a bunch from The Carltun. Come take a look!

Hey all... I went to the Carltun for brunch this sunday and it was fabulous! And i walked all around the place in all of the rooms.. if any of you are having a wedding there during the holidays, it looks magnificant with all of the christmas trees in all the rooms! So pretty! The whole place looked even better now then when I first booked. Our weddings are going to be AWESOME!!!! woohoo!

So far I have only heard from Terrance, early last week. He called to make contact and ask if I had any questions. I asked him about who the new BM's were and expressed some concern. He assured me that I would be contacted soon and in the meantime could call him regarding any questions.
