Re: CARLYLE BRIDE THREAD!!!!
I went with Cruise Control Limos out of Lindenhurst.. they had a great selection of cars, and they have an indoor showcase on Wednesday nights so I was able to check them out then. We are getting the Chrysler 300 limos (2 of them.. too many people in our party) and they are very accommodating! Worth taking a look at! FM me if you want more info

We're using Sir Oliver Limos and they had the best price around!

Re: CARLYLE BRIDE THREAD!!!!
We used Ultimate class for a Limo van and a limo bus. The limo van was comfortable. We never saw the inside of the 40 passenger limo bus but our guests and BP liked it. We just did a pick up and drop off service.

Re: CARLYLE BRIDE THREAD!!!!
i was anxious about the menu planning because that means it is getting very close but it went well..the table seating chart my my heart go a flutter but i'm sure i'll find time to get it done..i have to!!
i wanted to ask..is anyone deciding on getting ready there? cynthia brought up the point to just bring my dress and have my makeup done there in the morning. i can't remember the size of the bridal suite to assure that its big enough for everyone to get ready..what are you ladies doing???

Re: CARLYLE BRIDE THREAD!!!!
We got dressed there but had our hair and makeup done at the salon. The room is pretty but not very big. I only had 4 BM's and with my mom and MIL it was pretty crowded.

Re: CARLYLE BRIDE THREAD!!!!
we booked M&V Limo. got a 37 caddy for us, an escalade for the BP and a Cadillac CTS for the parents. i think their prices were fair and the cars were really nice.
i think the bridal suite is beautiful but i don't know if it will be big enough for all of you to get ready in.
Can't wait to see your pics and hear your review. CHoosing the menu must make it seem so much more real!! did they change anything from the menu they gave you when you booked?

Re: CARLYLE BRIDE THREAD!!!!
Look at what i just found on Duet's site. When we booked them they didn't really have any work to show us from the Carlyle but i love these 2 pics! had to share with all the Carlyle Brides!!
oh those pics were awesome..i'm guessing me and my 11 girls should probably get dressed at home..maybe i'll just get dressed there..thanks for all the advice!

Re: CARLYLE BRIDE THREAD!!!!
We don't have much left:
Bridal Party Gifts Rehersal Dinner My headpiece.. shoes and so on Tuxes Hair and Makeup trial- although I know who I am using and they are great Finalize Favors
(I know I am probally missing stuff....)
I went with an Eden dress for my girls.. It has a thick belt around the front of it and wraps in the back. I ordered it in Latte (it's actually really a light color) and Champagne.
I can't wait to do the menu... I called Gary the other day to ask him if it was ok to move my cocktail hour from 6 to 6:30... just waiting for a response and then the invite order will be finalized. We used Laura from L.A. Productions and she was wonderful!
We just booked our honeymoon and our limos... Yeah! After the invites are settled I am going to work on tuxes....
What about you?

Re: CARLYLE BRIDE THREAD!!!!
I like oval tables and think they'll look good in the ballroom, but they should be all oval. No mixing and matching.

Re: CARLYLE BRIDE THREAD!!!!
that's the thing. they only have 15 oval's and i think i have more than that..even if i just do the smaller tables i still need at least one oval because i have 14 children and i'm doing one table for them..i don't know what else to do!!

Re: CARLYLE BRIDE THREAD!!!!
I really liekd the option of the large oval tables because we had some families that just couldn't be split up. We had a mixture of both oval and round and it loked fine. Believe me you can't really tell the difference when they're next to each other.

we saw the room set up with ovals and rounds and couldn't tell the difference either. Hope that helps!
