We had our reception at Carlyle in March. LauraPete and one other bride (Kriss2rc, perhaps?) are this summer.

Re: carlyle brides
I was just there yesterday picking my menu options, and I probably looked like such an absent-minded person, because I kept watching the staff set up for some sort of anniversary party and they really are on top of everything. I can't wait.
At one point, my salesperson asked what favors I was giving out, when I told him wine, he had come up with so many suggestions for handing them out... things I would NEVER have thought of like leaving them in the guests cars so they find them as they leave. Such great ideas... they really care that you have the best day possible.

FH and I were torn between that and the Panini station.
Personally, I can't wait for the desert cafe with the chocolate fountain.....

Re: carlyle brides
Who are you meeting with? Everyone there is usually right on top of things.... you can always call and ask questions later. Lord knows, I have on several occasions.
P.S. You can have whatever you want of the stations... FH and I went in totally clueless and our coordinator made some suggestions.

Re: carlyle brides
Make sure that you're aware of the executive gratuity (a tip for the executive staff over the service charge). We knew about it (b/c of LIW), but it can be a real shocker if you don't know.

Re: carlyle brides
No, the executive gratuity is separate from (and additional to) the service charge.
