Carlyle Brides - which hotels are nicer/closer?

Huntington Hilton
Melville Marriot
Holiday Inn (Plainview)

Anyone ever had problems blocking rooms at any of these hotels?

uniondale marriott is really close to there and the rooms are reasonable.

We used the Melville Marriott-- its maybe 15 minutes from the Carlyle w/o traffic.

We had no problems booking rooms-they were very accommodating.

The Uniondale Marriott is near The Carltun, not the Carlyle(see Corinne's post). There's a Marriott Residence Inn in Plainview too. It's nice if you have any out of town guests who need to stay for several nights. All the rooms have little kitchens & free breakfast is served every AM.

I was in a wedding this weekend and stayed at the Marriott in Melville. Two weeks ago, I was a bridesmaid for a Carlyle Bride and we stayed at the Huntington Hilton.... I LOVED the Carlyle wedding more than anything!

I used the Inn at Fox Hollow and The Executive Inn, both in Woodbury. They are barely a 10 minute drive to Carlyle. Executive Inn was a good innexpensive alternative.

We booked rooms at the Melville Marriott, the Best Western Woodbury, and the Hampton Inn Commack (which is close to the church). A number of brides seem to have had pretty bad experiences with the Huntington Hilton, and the Inn at Fox Hollow seemed fairly expensive to us.
