I get so confused by this show. I finally realized after talking to a co-worker that in last night's episode the little boy & girl were Justin & his sister. I like it alot, but there are too many confusing things about it. Does anybody else watch this show?

I think Ben is going to have to sacrifice someone to bring the snake lady back to life and thats going to be the clincher, cause then that means Ben can make people live eternally and thats what he blind guy wants to prove, thats why managment picked him up.

this show just keeps twisting....
I think that Lodz is PURE evil. and that Ben can't heal if the devil is involved. Thus the snake = evil, etc. I don't think Ben can defeat the devil in his normal ways that he can fight other deaths.
I think Sophie was reading Libby's future or unconscious thoughts or desires. I think she can 'see' scenarios. I also think Appy might die soon and that is why Sophie is beginning to see things regularly. Or she is seeing things because Ben is around. The stigmata...who knows.....except that we think Sophie and Ben are brother/sister somehow right? So maybe they are like Jesus twins and the other brother/sister- Iris and Justin are some kind of devil kids. There is definite incest there or incestuous thoughts with Justin and Iris. In the very beginning of this show , Justin watched her in the shower and beat himself for his impurity.
and what about the fact that the show OPENS on a dream of Bens' being with Brother Justin - I mean he totally sees him....they must be related - it's the only thing that makes sense.
I don't think everybody is dead. I think Ben is BACK from the dead. I think he is Christ-like in many ways - and that he's 'risen'. Ghost maybe...but definitely has been dead at some point.

I do not think Ben or any of the Carnivale people are dead.
I think that Ben was dreaming when he was in that Mexican town. He saw that boy from his dreams running down the street.
I think that Ben can only heal the pure at heart or innocence so that is why he is having trouble healing the snake lady.
sophie i beleive is starting to get her mothers talents and was seeing that libby had lustful thoughts towards her.
I keep waiting for it to come all together but its a series and the last episode is next week. We probably have to wait another 6 months for season 2 to start

Ok, so who watched? I don't think I have been so scared from a TV show in my entire life, it scared the crap out of me - and I keep seeing Justin with those black eyes, AHHH!
I actually don't think Jonsey or Sophie are dead, maybe the mother. I betcha that maybe Justin is Sophie's father? Something is going on there.

Yeah, the guy in the cemetary was Scudder. He told Ben he was destined for bigger things. Management is evil, I think....he gave Lodz his vision back knowing that Ben would be back to see him... What I don't understand is why Appellonia lit their trailer on fire and wouldnt let Sophie go. When she was 'talking' to Lodes, he said 'It can't be thegirl, this is madness!' Maybe Appellonia wanted to kill herself and Sophie so that Ben could heal them and maybe bring Appelonia back to life and out of her catatonic state? wow. that was deep. I need a candy bar....

I don't think Brother Justin raped Appy. Up until this point he believed he was a good man. A man of God. I think maybe Appy MAYBE started that fire to create a diversion for Ben to kill Lodz without anyone knowing. What an AWESOME scene.

i KNEW that Father Balthus wouldnt be able to kill Justin with that candlestick.....it was kind of sad how Justin couldn't believe that Father Balthus' greatest sin was saving Justin's life.....I kinda felt bad for the demon.

Ok, this is what I think. I think that Sophie's father (remember Appollina or whatever her name is was raped) is somehow related to Justin or is Justin, and Sophie is part evil. If you remember, Appolina heard Justin's voice in the background and that is when she threw the flame. I think that is why she threw it, because she is afraid that Sophie is evil and now that Justin is becoming more known & spreading evil, perhaps she is afraid of what Sophie may become. I think what will happen is that Appolina will die, but Sophie will be ok and so will Jonsey (maybe).
I don't think necessarily that mangement is evil, but could be both good and evil, I'm not sure. Management gave Lodz his eyesight back so that when Ben killed him, Ben could look him in the eyes and know that Lodz was evil. Maybe I need a candy bar too!!!

I just realized something....SOMEONE in that trailer has to die....because Management HEALED Lodes and management said that he and Ben are of the same 'kind' and that for each person saved, someone dies. Maybe Appy dies....hmmm....
PS: I dont see why everyone thinks Appy was raped by Justin? They showed her being raped and it didnt look like Justin to me.....but that is a GREAT theory that maybe Sophie is evil...cause Appy told Lodes it was the girl, which Lodes said was madness. HBO...WE NEED ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, this show confuses the heck out of me, most of the time I don't understand what is going on! The only reason that I think Sophie's father is evil is because Appolina heard his voice when she grabbed Sophie & threw the flame (and I think she threw the flame when his speech became louder). I don't think it's management because in a way managment was good because he allowed Ben to kill an evil man. Plus, rape is an evil act, done by an evil man. That's JMO, again, don't know what the heck is going on with this show!!!!!
