Carribean

Where have you been? Where would you recommend staying?

I am interested in the Bahamas right now. But would love any feedback. THANKS

I have been to St. Martin, St. Barts, and Dominican Republic. In St. Martin we stayed at the La Sammana Hotel. In St. Barts anywhere you stay is amazing! I wouldn't reccommend Dominican Rep. though. While it had beautiful beaches, we felt kind of stuck at the resort because you couldn't really go out to explore the island.

hmm, I've been to St. Martin, St Thomas, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Dominican Republic, Cozumal, Grand Caymen, Jamaica, Bahamas/Paradise Island, Curacao, Grenada, Martinique, Dominique - I'd avoid the smaller islands if you're planning on staying there awhile.

as for where you should go - what do you want to do? Almost all have gorgeous beaches. Do you want nightlife, gambling, diving, etc?

I have seen other islands when I went on cruises, but that is hard to say when you are only there for a day.

We went to Bahamas twice and stayed at Breezes one time years ago and Sandals last year. If I went again I would definetely stay at Atlantis.

Antigua was not my favorite of islands.

I really enjoyed Aruba!

We just got back from Bermuda and it was amazing!!

St. Lucia is awesome too.

I've only been to the Bahamas/Paradise Island (stayed at the Sheraton and Atlantis) and Puerto Rico (this trip was for business - stayed at the Marriott - did I mention I love my job sometimes? )

Aruba
Bonaire
