Cassarino Brides!

Okay, now I am all confused!!! I booked a very expensive package with Cassarino and now I'm thinking I should've had their photojournalistic photographer too! I look at all the photojournalistic pics that everyone posts and I fall in love with them! I'm soooo confused now!!! I didn't think I'd want it. Is anyone using their photojournalistic photographer??? Do you think that the extra $750 is worth it??? I'm lost!! HELP!

I have been debating over this also. I am using them, and while their standard photographer is great....I am secretly yearning for the photojournalist too. But another 750...yikes.

Have you met with your photographer yet? Which one are you using?

Oh, boy, you are bringing back MAJOR memories, I went through the same exact dilemma.
What I did was go back to Cassarino, and view more of my photographers pics (I have Nickolai - he is awesome)
I remembered why I chose him in the first place, and feltconfident that I didnt need the other photographer, b/c Nick's style is right up my alley. Also I could convert some pics into b/w.

Why dont you do the same? If after you look at your photographer's pic, you still feel a little something 'missing' then GO FOR IT. $750 at this point will most likely not break your bank, and you will be happy w/the results.

THANK YOU!!! That's EXACTLY how I'm feeling. I'm AFRAID to mention this to FH! UGH!! I just looked at their website and their photojournalistic pics are beautiful!!!

I am using Jodi and someone else, but we're not told yet (having photographer going to FH's house too). We have not met with her yet, as our wedding is not until October. I figured I should wait a little bit more.

What about you?

Dont wait much longer b/c they only have a couple of photojournalistic photographers, demand to know who your photographers are, and view their pics.

Thanks Liz! I'm actually going to Chateau Briand tonight, maybe my photographers albums will be there!!! That's a good idea, I never thought of that!

Ugghhh, this is a major dilemma for me. I have Mike as the photographer but I LOVE the photjournalism. I really think I'm going to add it on.

If you are using Jodi you have NOTHING to worry about. She is fantastic.

Her style is very relaxed...not structured poses at all. A friend just used her, and her thank you card was a pic of her biting the grooms ear and him making a 'whoa' face!

AAAHHHH Misty! You just made me feel better!!! I think that's why I chose her... Her photos didn't look too posed.

I'm still stuck though.... I may mention it to FH and see what he says. Honestly, he could probably care less about the pics! haha!

You can always do what I did, I added in a photojournalisim photographer and did not tell FH I am not using Cassarino, so ours was $400. I knew FH did NOT want to spend any more money, but this is what I needed to have to make me feel confident in my photographer, so I did it. Horrible, I know. And I still trying to figure out how I am going to explain that we have 2 photographers at our wedding. Hopefully he wont notice

I'll meet w/Nick a month befoe and go over in strict detail what I want. Hes so much fun too, my girlfirend used him and her pics are fantastic

Yeah I looked at them but it would have cost an extra 950 to hire the additional photographer for the photos I wanted. (price went up right after new year). If you are happy with them then I would cough up the money because at this point what is the extra 1000, if it means you get the photos you truely want

I am also using Cassarino. My photographer is Cynthia. I also want the photojournalistic package. I am thinking of not telling FH and just getting it. Has anyone used Cynthia?

I'm going through the same situation. When we were booking them as we started to go through the albums FH & I found ourselves really liking the photojournalistic pics. We decided to think it over and see were we stand after some more of the planning is out of the way, but I think we are going to get one.

I think you have the right idea. Look tonight at the showcase and at the pictures again and that should help you decide. Go with your first instinct after looking at the pics.

LOL That's so funny. I wish I could do that, but he's in charge of the bank account now.

Another thing that you have to remember, is that a photographer is always better when working with people who are willing to do things. If you are having fun and have a great spirit, it will probably make his job easier, and your photos will come out more relaxed as a result of it.

I think we are all fun spunky chicks...so I'm not worried!
