WE have been lucky, she hasn't messed with the tree too much. The bows and ribbons on the packages, now thats a different story

Our cats attack the ornaments all over the tree. We have some up really high and when we get home, we find them on the floor. I don't know how they're reaching them.

Re: Cat owners:Do your cats attack the Christmas tree ornaments?

My mom has these styrofoam ornaments from the 70's that she puts on the bottom branches of the tree. the cats play with them and knock them off and my mother doesn't care! We do try to save them so they have ornaments to knock off next Christmas

Re: Cat owners:Do your cats attack the Christmas tree ornaments?

Scutches is forever messing with the tree. Trying to climb it, knocking the ornaments off, you name it. The worst is when he teases the dog into chasing him around and he'll dodge under the tree. The dog (not realizing she won't fit under the tree) will push her way under it and you'll see the tree swaying side to side. I'm just waiting for it to crash to the floor. The dog is pretty good this year about touching the ornaments, but I think they love to see mommy's blood pressure rise when I have to scream at them to leave the tree alone!

Re: Cat owners:Do your cats attack the Christmas tree ornaments?

I only have 1 cat, but he doesn't attack the tree. He likes to eat the bows and ribbon on the gifts better! So, all our presents look average because there's only wrapping on them. lol
