Re: Cat owners:Do your cats attack the Christmas tree ornaments?

We put bows on the tree this year because we were sick of the broken bulbs all over the place. They aren't as bad as they were but then again bows probably aren't as fun.

Re: Cat owners:Do your cats attack the Christmas tree ornaments?

my cats are the worst!!! After last Christmas I found little ornaments (it is a mini-tree for our little house, about 3 feet tall) anyway I found these little ornaments all summer, like they had a stash hid away so they could last till next Christmas with little trinkets!

Re: Cat owners:Do your cats attack the Christmas tree ornaments?

My cat loveeesssss to hit the balls off the tree and break them. She also likes to eat the tree and throw up after (It's a fake tree). This year we left the bottom of the tree bare, it looks kinda funny, but no broken balls yet!!

Re: Cat owners:Do your cats attack the Christmas tree ornaments?

oh yeah...I hope it didn't hurt! I was thinking it was just like a shock, like when someone walks funny on the carpet and touches you.

Now I feel bad!

Re: Cat owners:Do your cats attack the Christmas tree ornaments?

My cat (who is no longer with us ) LOVED the ornaments AND the tree!!!!!
She used to knock the ornaments off with her paws and then 'bat' them around like play toys....
Too Funny!!!!!

Re: Cat owners:Do your cats attack the Christmas tree ornaments?

My cat doesn't play with the ornaments but she licks the tree. It is artificial and I guess there is something in it that she loves. After the tree is all gone we have to wax the floor because of her slobber. Gross, I know.

Re: Cat owners:Do your cats attack the Christmas tree ornaments?

My cat chews on the tree (it's artifical). I sprayed the bottom branches with bitter apple, but I think he likes that stuff ?!?!

Last night he pulled the beaded garland-so now instead of it being draped over the branches, it's pulled very tight around the tree.

He doesn't attack the ornaments bc we just don't have any on the bottom of the tree!

He used to be happy just sleeping under the treee...
