Cat owners: How much does your cat weigh?

We have two cats. One weighs 10 lbs. The other weighs 20 lbs. He is always eating and I try to limit his food but the other one needs to eat.

I can't have pets in my apartment (so the two cats still live with mom). She just took them to the vet and Finley weighs 17.4 pounds and the new kitten Cody weighs only 4 pounds.

Two months ago Lucy tipped in at 17.5 lbs. Vets are always telling me she's overweight...I say she's bigboned - she's long & tall.

Anyway...she was hospitalized for 8 days and dropped to 13.8 and just a month ago she weighed in at 13.5 - so she's losing, which they say is good. Apparently she should be 10lbs. Even vets are jumping in on the generalizing of people's weight without considering the individual!

Our one cat is very big. He eats all the time. I can't leave the bowl empty because the little guy needs to eat too. I am trying to put only small amounts of food in there and give the little guy treats during the day.

I feed Lucy 2 small cans of Iams Weight Control...I used to leave a bowl of hard food (also Iams WC) out all day for her to munch on...but I have since stopped b/c of a condition she has and she's lost a little bit of weight. I'll give her a little, tiny bit once a day (cause she cries incessantly for it by the door where I keep it).

Bubba, the skinny one is a mere 8 pounds while fat @ss, I mean Snapple, shown sprawled out in my avatar, is a whopping 30!

We put him on diet food, I chase him around the house so he gets exercise, but we just can't get him to stop eating! I don't know what to do to help him.

The vet said that Finley (even though weighing 17plus pounds) was not overweight because he is 'just a big cat'. He's long with big paws. I still think he's kind of chubby so I call him 'Moose'. He's really sick now (he had a bad upper respiratory infection with fever/lesions in throat/sneezing and those symptoms are starting to go away and now he has bad conjunctivitis in both eyes). Mom has to bring him back to the vet next week and I'm sure he will have lost weight because he hasn't been eating anything for almost a week now. Poor Kitty

Killian weighs in at 11 pounds. People say she looks fat but she's not. just big and long.

18.8 as per his last vet visit. I also got the 'your cat needs to lose weight' speech. He's a cat, he isnt trying to fit into clothes or impress the ladies with his physique! Leave him alone, he's happy!

Thanks Diane Mom might have to go to Germany on business next week so I'll be staying at her house to kittysit.

My 'old lady' is going to be 20 in Feb and she weights 6lbs. My 'little lady' is 6 and she only weighs 4lbs - she's very petite! And the bully of the house, my mean, mean man just turned 4 and he is 24lbs! Bigger than this years turkey!!

Chloe weighs 8 pounds...she is my lean little girl. I measure her food twice a day so I know exactly how much she is eating. I know I am really anal ... but i make sure she gets exercise...she loves fetch!

I've got a 30 lb. Maine Coon!
My other 2 weigh in about 10 lbs. each.

We've got some big cats on this board!!

Our cat is 16 lbs, chunky for his size, and he has to go on a diet, it's starting to effect his joints (he's getting arthritis, and the weight is not helping).

OMG!! Almost all the cats weigh more than my DOG!! She's only 9 lbs.
