Our lady of Snows Church. We are so happy we are getting married in a brand new church they are building it now every time we drive by we are like oh my ' god' (lol) look at it, they are put it up so fast it's going to be beautiful. I always feel like bring the workers water or something, just to show them how much I appreciate it. lol

Im getting married at St. Francis of Assisi...do you or FH belong to a church bc many churches require you to be part of their church or your parents. There are churches that will allow it even if you are not a member.

I think you can go to any Church as long as you donate money?? i could be wrong..
if my Church doesn't work out for some reason (and i go to this Church every Sunday) then im either going to the Church where i teach school or a Church near my RH.

Even though I live on LI, we go to St. Anastasia in Douglaston. My family has been members since 1991!

(It is going to be a very Holy Day for FH and I b/c we are having two ceremonies, one in a Catholic church and one in a Greek Orthodox church!!!)

I'm not either, but I didnt even give it a thought... I was always dead set against it. FH & I dont go to church... havent been in years and we are farrr from religious so it jus doesnt make any sense to us to have it in a church... Of course mom and her super religious side of the fam are upset about that... They first thing out of their mouth 'well you know a catholic priest wont marry outside the church..' my response 'who needs a priest?' LOL I'm pretty sure I said it in a much nicer way though
