Full Mass. Simply because there are three and 1/2 hours between the ceremony and the reception and we have a lot of people who are from out of town and unfamiliar with the area. It would blow our budget to arrange something for them during the down time.

Re: Catholic Brides: Ceremony or Full Mass?
Mass...they don't do ceremonies at my church on Friday's. Oh and when I asked if it was a full mass, the priest was like, we don't distinguish between a mass and full mass. Foot in mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A full mass..i feel thats the most important part of the wedding day, so its 15 mins longer.

This is my feeling...not that I think people are bad for wanting or having a ceremony...this is just my preference

Just the ceremony. I honestly don't think I could stand there that long for a full mass... I'd be too excited.

Well it is only 10-15 mins more at the most. It's not bad if you dont want a full mass, I just feel that this is what marriage really is..not the party afterwords

Re: Catholic Brides: Ceremony or Full Mass?
We are having a friday night wedding, so we are doing a ceremony only. If it were a sat or sun, I think we'd have a full mass.

We're only doing a ceremony. My family and I aren't Catholic and FI and I aren't very religious.
