I am not getting married till next year but didn't your priest go over this? My priest kind of did from our first meeting. Maybe you should call him.

that's my problem! i don't even know who my Priest is yet! the lady that organizes the weddings at our Church says she will pick one because it all depends on who's on vacation at the time! do you believe that! i feel like i'm flying blind!!!

I'd call them, it wouldn't hurt! Each church is different.

I would call them and tell them your concerns. At this point they should know who will be officiating and you should tell her you want to meet with him.

We met with the priest when we booked the church and filled out the forms to hold the date. He then gave us this 'together for life' book which had all the information about the cremeony. And it had all the prayers for you to chooes and 'design' your ceremony. It even has a form you fill out to give the priest with your selections. I gave it to the priest about a week before the wedding. Hope this helps

Re: Catholic brides...full mass question
There is a woman at St. Brigid's who actually goes over the music for the ceremony with you and helps you choose. I know you have to make an appointment with her and arrange all of that. Unfortunately I don't have that information with me right now since I'm at work.

Definitely talk to your priest, he'll help you out. And I think you have plenty of time. We decided on our final readings and songs about two weeks before the wedding and it was no problem at all.
