Same here. We aren't, but we aren't close to him. We actually only met him when we asked to be married.
I don't know if you're supposed to...judging from this post it seems almost everyone does. Our priest, while a wonderful man, was someone we met in the months prior to the wedding...we certainly didn't know him before or had a personal relationship with him. It would have been odd to have him at our reception since I was 'shaking my thang'. LOL

I didn't invite him...but that's because I only met the priest when we asked to be married. Unless your on a first name basis (and have known him for years) with the priest..then I wouldn't. but it also a nice thought!
