so my husband called CB to let them know we wanted our money back and he kind of lied on the reason why.. i guess he didnt expect them to ask him why... (silly him)
and apparently they read through this and saw what i have written on them... and to make the story CLEAR, CB is an amazing and beautiful place just not my style.. i perfer a smaller more personal venue.. it is very easy to fall in love with it as we did BUT again its not my PERSONAL style I am sure whoever is booked here will have an AMAZING wedding...
CB if you're reading this I am sorry and please do not take it personal.. MY hub loves ur place... I am the picky one and want to be the only bride at my venue..

I changed my mind on a venue as well. Things happen. Feelings and opinions change.
I am a little weirded out that they looked you up on here though.

Hmn... I guess they can look at our profiles too... if they can see what we say and then figure out our wedding date/names... interesting. I knew it was public and everything, but I never actually considered that they would track you down like that. I mean... they had to know exactly who you were to say something, right?
In the end, lesson learned. CB is beautiful and if it weren't for the fact I almost cried thinking of getting married anywehre but FH, I would've booked them. They have the floor that brings you up into the room and the Da Vinci room has uplighting.. and the outside oasis is just to die for! It's not for everyone though. At least you decided that now rather than later.
I agree, i never realized vendors can read our posts UNTIL .... FH & I were looking at DJs and were in the middle of booking. When I went to sign our contract our DJ made a comment about my LIW post and i was like.... what?! The company had read my post saying how much I liked them and our DJ recoginzed us from our photo...

its a public forum so anyone can look. do you think vendors dont check out the boards especially ones who are prefered vendors?
there are vendors who will take posts from LIW and put them in a book and show them to other brides to see the great reviews they receive.
if you dont like that anyone can read what you post either dont post or watch what you post.

When i met with my RH they asked if i read about htem on LIW...and they told me they do check these boards. at that point i changed my name on here (it was the same as the beginning of my email address that all endors got when i met with them) and i removed all information (except for the wedding date). i didnt want vendors to see things or find out too much info
