CD Favors
How much does it cost to produce these? I'm not into the whole CD burning thing so I have no clue!I'm thinking of doing these but the someone in my weddding party did them for their wedding and FH doesn't want to 'bite off of them' but I think it's such a personal thing and music so much a part of both of our lives- it would be the perfect expression of us and our guest would enjoy it.

Re: CD Favors
Look in this Sunday's Newsday for rebates and sales on the CD's and Covers.. sometimes you can get them together..Check out Costco/BJs/Office Max or Staples.. they usually have good deals on them..

Re: CD Favors
It depends on how much effort you want to put into it. You could put them in glassine envelopes, tins, paperboard cases you would have to decorate...buy labels for etc. The only real cost is the labels and the songs99 cents each

Re: CD Favors
Maybe 'burning' was the wrong terminology- like I said, I have no idea of how you go about making them- just not into that whole downloading thing- I guess I better do some research....

do u know someone who has an ipod, the itunes music store is VERY good, that is where I got my songs from, it is really easy. Just but them (.99$) drag them to your selected playlist, then hit the 'burn cd' button and presto..........your cd

Re: CD Favors
hmm including labels, CD's (always look for the ones with the major rebates), CD cases, color cartrdiges for printing, printing inserts etc .. i think i spent about $200-$250 for about 150 CD's. it was definitely a pain in the butt though!! but they were such a hit that it doesnt matter

Re: CD Favors
Hi,This is what I am doing for favors...I am going to a computer show (usually at Sports Plus every couple of weeks) and buying a bunch of CD's, cases, and labels. You can usually get them real cheap at a computer show because you can bargain for them. Then I am using Bear Share (free service from the internet just download the program) and getting the songs from there and then will burn them to a CD using a CD burner program that usually comes with the CD burner. If you need more detailed info, please FM me!!!!!

you can copy the cd on any regular computer that has the software. Like I was told by some computer wizards once the first burnt cd is good, all the copies from that cd is god.
If you don't have that program you can just keep placing yuor cd in your comp and burning it directly, no difference really.
