cencelling NY wedding

well after MUCH thought and consideration, due to many family issues, FH and I have cancelled our New York wedding...we are still getting married tho! around the same time as original, but we are going to do a DW instead and just invite close friends and family, whoever wants to come can come, if it winds up just me and him thats fine too!
life is crazy sometimes, and we dont have control over other people and things happening, i just know that we want to be husband and wife and are looking forward to our lieftime together...i getting married on a beach or away and just enjoying the moment sounds wonderful to me...once we pick a place ill let you ladies know, thinking st thomas,bahamas, got a couple in mind and have been researching!the planning is still happening!!

things happen for a reason. this may be a better thing for the both of you.

i think DW's are great! we wouldn't be able to have our friends/family if we did a DW--but i see nothing wrong with having a 'Weddingmoon'

check out Sandals--they have fantastic DW packages!

in the end do what works for you 2!!!!! That is why we are doing a very very small wedding in mexico!

None of the stress and all of the fun....7 nights worth!

That's wonderful! I ended up doing the same thing and was so happy to make that decision. It seems as though everyone still wants to come to the wedding! Please, let us know as soon as you pick a destination
