What does everyone think of having those fruit arrangements (you know, the ones made to look like flower arrangements) as centerpieces. I'm not a big flower person.

Re: Centerpiece idea
o that would actually be a very nice unique idea...however i would be afraid of people pickin at it throughtout the reception...even how long does the fruit stay 'fresh' i know after you cut fruit and it sits out it will change colors...not sure how that would work with one of those..if it has to be constantly refrigarated

Re: Centerpiece idea
I wouldnt mind anyone eating the fruit, I'd even encourage it. There are arrangements with chocolate covered strawberries. I'd want everyone to enjoy it. Like i said, i'm not a big flower person so i really dont want to spend a lot of money on flowers just to have them for 4 hours. This way, everyone would be able to enjoy it.

i've seen them and i think they're fun. there's a place just down the street from me that does them.
the only thing i have to comment is this: they tend to look a bit 'casual'. just something to consider.
BUT.. if you're having a spring or summer wedding, especially an outdoor even; i think it would be really cute.
i like that they're colorful. i think they would make your guests feel HAPPY. you can't look at one of those and not smile.
good luck. if you decide to go with them, please post pictures of the final product

FH actually just stopped in at the Babylon location this morning...I just finished reading their catalog! I think that's a cute idea for your centerpieces, but they can be on the expensive side. If you buy a lot, maybe they can work on the price with you?? Good luck!
