Centerpiece (pics)
What do you guys think of these centerpieces? I checked out the sample today. I am really looking for something unique. I know that a lot of you would not select this for your own wedding, but what would you think if you saw this when you were a guest? We are not using the pink roses at the bottom. We will probably use hydrangeas instead. There will also be more candles.
Honesty does not hurt my feelings!

Re: Centerpiece (pics)
They are very interesting, very non-traditional.I think they may look a bit dreary though. You may need to dress them up just a bit IMHO.
But I also think it may be a great starting point to create something very unique!

Re: Centerpiece (pics)
For Oheka I think this will be good. I don't know how much you are paying, but I have heard of brides paying a fortune to fill the rooms with flowers. I think this is a nice alternative and very different. I agree that it would give the room an enchanted feeling.

They are $200 each because they claim there is more labor.

Re: Centerpiece (pics)
I think it will be nice with your candles around it and different colored flowers. I do think it needs to be livened up a little.

Re: Centerpiece (pics)
I like them, but also think they are a little dreary. Can you maybe add alittle more color to them? They do have a cool enchanted look, which is nice. And I like the idea of hydrangea, those are so pretty.

Re: Centerpiece (pics)
i love them! if you want to add more color - you can add some flowers or something around the branches with the greenery.

Re: Centerpiece (pics)
I talked it over with my grandmother and mother who also went with me to look at it. We all decided that it was too 'swampy' looking. There is something about the idea that I like, but it is not working for me. So I think I am going to go back to the drawing board. The basic issue is that I wanted flowering branches (i.e., dogwood, cherry blossoms, etc.), but they are not available in September. Then I wanted orchids tied to the branches because it would give the same feel. But the centerpieces would be $500 each. So instead, I am just doing the huppah with the orchids and trying to come up with a centerpiece that has branches but not as expensive (about $250 each).
