Centerpiece Price Guesstimate?

Centerpiece Price Guesstimate?

Hey Guys,

I wont hold you to this - but I am a total newbie when it comes to flowers. I want to have high centerpieces that look like the piece below (all white with hydrangea and roses and a thick ball shape with very little filler and crystals hanging) and I was wondering if anyone could help me guesstimate how much something like that would cost (1. so I dont get ripped off and 2. because if it is too outrageous I will start looking for a plan b).

Please also note that my hall will lend me the candelabras so that would not be included in the price.

Thanks!

it all depends on the size of the CP generally and the types of flowers - since you're going to do mostly hydrangeas, that should bring down the price a bit

i'd say that it should probably be about $125-150 each

mine are $150 each from FBB and include the rental of the vase - pic below

So I'm having something similar to this in the front entrance. She's charging us around 250 for 3 of them (different sizes) but my centerpieces are costing close to 400 each. hope this helps

Yea, it was steep but they are massive! And not too many flowers. I hope they are stunning as well for that price

hi date twin!
i am paying $125 for each high centerpiece. i dont have a photo yet (going saturday to see my sample) but it is hydrangea & roses. I believe hydrangea are considered filler flowers so they should not cost that much. I would say $175 max

Mine are $175. Similar but with flowers at the bottom of the stand and going up the stand, from FBB

Edited because I checked

Thank you everyone! Lisalana I am OBSESSED with your flowers! OMG! Did your quote include the stand? If so, do you know how much they charged you for it? Also, who did you use?

I'm paying $175 (or was it $150!???) each for mine. They're in my album. Very similar to what you described. At Pedastals... I can check my contract when I get home if you'd like me to.

Wow, I love yours! Do you know how much they are charging you to use the vase? I am just trying to figure out what I should anticipate being that I have my own candelabras from the venue.

I think you can find that b/w $200-$300?

It all depends on the candelabra and the flowers, of course...but I think a florist should be able to do it within that price range, possibly even under $200.

those Cp looks kind of like mine but mine are not mostly hydrangeas - but that will help you bring the price down as well. talk with your florist and ask which flowers are in season at the time of your wedding to keep the price down. each of my CP are $175 each and also have 2 orchids inside the vase (which is over 4 feet tall) with stuff hanging down and crystals and stuff. the rentalof the vase is also included.

Thanks :) Yes, the price included the candelabras. Our florist was Andrew Pascoe, and he is truly incredible. Our ceremony room blew us away. I highly recommend him.

Re: Centerpiece Price Guesstimate?

your cps are very similar to mine, except mine are purple and red

the first pic, that CP is probably around 125-150

the second pic I would say is 3-400/CP

my CPs are 400 also but they are massive like the 2nd pic and no fillers what so ever

it really depends on the size you want
I would have the florist make you a sample so you can visualize the actual size of the sample
'size' and number of flowers and fillers are all very subjective

i had 2 samples from 2 diff florists..the one with tons of fillers was same price as my full CP
