Centerpiece Question???

This might just be me not quite understanding things.... but FH and I are looking to do a centerpiece that is about 3-4 feet tall...long stem callas....

For those who have done something like this or similar in size....how do your guests take it home if it doesn't come apart in two pieces (Top bowl like fixtures and bottom vase)

That is the same question I had when i went to the florist.

I am getting them for my wedding (very similar to the pic, except 12 calla's in each centerpiece).

What they do is before the wedding, when they bring in the cp's, the florist gives the maitre d' some cellophane or saran wrap and wraps them up at each table for each women there. I thought that was a nice idea.. I think I would also let the bm know this so they can make sure it definitely gets done that day.

I was concerned about this also b/c they are not cheap and I would hate to see them get thrown away.

I too want long stemmed callas for my CPs... I hadn't even thought of guests bringing them home and any obstacles... That's why I love this board. Thanks girls.
