Centerpiece--With Poll!

I went to the showcase tonight at my reception hall and i was looking at florists... i liked this centerpiece by flower michele... i wanted to get u opinion on it so i added a poll

I love it too.. I might steal this for my centerpieces.. I agree that they look very elegant, which is the style that I am going for.

I agree that it's very elegant. I'm stealing your picture :)

I wanted something just like this but everyone keeps telling me if I do white flowers the ballroom won't have enough color :( but I'm thinking maybe if I take this picture as a base picture, I can add color to it somehow.

i actually was looking at a high centerpiece with lots of pinks and some blue in it... and the women i booked my hall with pointed me to this one and said it was made for my room.. i spoke with the florist and he said that the colors in the pink one wouldn't show up and it had very little dimension too it... i could add some pale pinks in there but it has hanging crystals and little voltives from it as well...

so as far as the color goes i think white is the only thing that really shows up in a dark set room with all the different lights and stuff... see if u can get colorful uplighting for the walls or to spot-light the white flowers...

the white will definitely bring brightness to a room.

I'm not huge into uplighting - With my colors I think most background colors would end up clashing or taking away from the room. Spot lighting the flowers isn't a bad idea though I'll have to look into that. The problem I'm having is everything in the ballroom is already white so white flowers I think wouldn't stand out. I'm definitely using your picture as a model though when I go speak with florists.
