Re: Centerpieces
Why not do flowers and candles? There are so many centerpieces that have both. Also, I've seen gorgeous ones with a bouquet in the middle and small candles around...
I haven't picked mine yet, so I can't offer prices~

Re: Centerpieces
I haven't decided either, but I think flowers and candles together is a nice elegant touch.

Re: Centerpieces
My hall gives them to me for free. But I am also getting candles to put around.

I've decided on flowers and candles for centerpieces. Check out John from Flower Michele he is making mine.

Re: Centerpieces
We did something very unique. Instead of candles, we bought submergable LED lights to put in the vase with our flowers so you get the look of a candle without actually having one. It looks magnificent. We went with Flower Michele (John) and he's going to use our supplies and do it for us. He's genius, and his work is great!! I wholeheartedly trust him.

Re: Centerpieces
We wanted to do fish bowls with beta fish in them, but FH was afraid that the fish would die during the reception. I guess it has something to do with the fact that he went through 5 beta fish in 4 years.
My hall is providing us with candelabras so I'll probably just sprinkle some petals on the table with them.

I was thinking the same thing...a low centerpiece with personalized votive candles around it. These are the centerpieces I was thinking about BTW...being I love purple and having my BMs in purple.
I am having 3 square vases. The middle vase is 6x6 and 2 side ones that are 4x4. The middle vase will have Black Magic and Red Roses and the sides will have Red Roses. The table will have the different rose petels down the middle with votives between each one. It tooks very pretty!!
