Centerpieces HELP finding affordable florist please!

Hello Ladies! I really don't have an ample budget for flowers since we want to focus more on the DJ & the photographer. I think we're going to end up DYI most of the bouquets and personal flower needs but need a florist for the centerpieces. Any suggestions appreciated and also what price range should I expect for the CPs?? Please FM me if you feel more comfortable than posting it in public.

Yes, B*urtons is known to have the best prices, but I didn't think they were so great on customer service. Went to Laura's Floral Elegance in E.Northport and she was WONDERFUL - took notes on every detail of my wedding, showed me lots of flower options and had great ideas - and her price was the same as B's

B urtons service is amazing Mike is nothing but accommodating!!!!!!!! We are so happy that we picked them to be our florist!!!!!!!

Ladies, Would you mind sharing your prices for the Centerpieces???
We like Roses and Tulips and are probably looking for arrangements with these flowers and some fillers to keep the cost down but also because I think it looks nice....

We were on a budget too.

We are going with Georgewood Florists in Bayseside, Queens and our centerpieces are $65 each.

That's pretty good! What kind of Centerpieces are you getting? Tall/Short, kind of flowers?

Try Michelle at Hidden Essence! Tell her your budget and she will create something beautiful to suit your budget. Thats exactly what she did for us! The CP's were beautiful and she is sooooooo wonderful to work with! You'd love her. Check her out, she is a vendor on LIW.

Iwas going to do my centerpiece myself the day before the wedding then got cold feet. Becasue of this, I had already bought the vases, but many florists rent them out.

I did all my boks and centerpieces. I ordered real touch wedding flowers from afloral.com. they have great prices and the flowers look and feel SO REAL! (hence the name, I guess LoL) the only problem I'm having is finding cheap vases. hth!

I'm still battling with the idea of doing my own but I'm by no means crafty or creative! I'm glad to hear I could possibly buy the vases and leave the creativity, flowers, delivery and setup to the florists.... Nice centerpiece!!
What kind of flowers are those?

Have you tried going to the flower district? I saw a few florists that don't only sell the flowers but they also sell vases.

I think we'll end up doing the boutonnieres, throw away bouquet and corsages ourselves. For the rest of the BP flowers: it's a toss up depending on what kind of pricing we can get..

I had amazing service at B urton's before my wedding & they really went above & beyond on the day of. The prices are really good too b/c you can get any flower for the same price.

We'll definitely be contacting them to see what they can do for us...
