I was just wondering how much your churches etc. were charging to have a wedding ceremony. I just finally got some info on the chapel I want to have my ceremony in, in hawaii and my mouth dropped-4,500 dollars a la carte.

I was really surprised when we found out it would be $1,000 to use the church. I knew there would be a fee, I just thought it would be $300-$500.

Not having it at a temple but as part of our having everything at Russo's the ceremony is only an extra $750.00. We had priced a temple in Massapequa and they wanted only $800.00..not bad for a temple ceremony. Others we had priced were $1,000 +

well, we're not really getting charged to use the church, but it is $150 for the Pastor's Honorarium, $125 for the musician, and $75 for the sound room technician. oops...that's only $350! Ok well then mines $350...

We are getting married in a Catholic church and are paying $625 for everything (including music and singer)

we will give a donation but we dont have to we will prob give like $150-$200 we will see. Thye didnt say we HAVE to give a donation they just said your a member why should you pay?

Yeah, the membership fee was an extra $300 but they waived that for us.

well, its a 'Facilities use and set-up fee' but if you are a member they waive it.
Really all we are paying for is the Pastor to personalize the wedding since he knows us, the musicians and the sound guy.

We are getting married at the RH.....$400 if its outside and $200 if we have it inside...plus they provide us all rose petals and a runner.....

My FH plays the organ & keyboards at the church, so we get to use it for free. The first church I had in mind wanted $1000!!!!

400 just for the church...... that doesn't include the flower or the organ player all of that is separate. I had to pay $100.00 for precana too.
