Our churcg is charging us $500. Its $150 if youre a member though so were working on becoming memebers. (I really like the church though, so its really not just to save money)
Ouch...I thought my church was a rip off...they want $300 for the church than $215 for the music guy....
We are getting married at RH and it's $750 extra...other places I went to were $1500
Ours is $450
we are getting married at the RH either way if it is indoors in their chapel room or out side in the garden, it is @ $850, music/mic's not included
my church said a donation of 500 would be fine
We have to pay for membership....he gave us a blank envelope and said give what you want!

really? well i know alot of other churches give you the fee WITHOUT the donation fee you need to give and you think its one amount but then when its time to pay everything you realize you need to make the donation and its about that amount.
Our RH charged us $750 and that includes the flowers. And then if we get a deacon we will give a donation or we will pay for a non denominational person if we have to.

really? well i know alot of other churches give you the fee WITHOUT the donation fee you need to give and you think its one amount but then when its time to pay everything you realize you need to make the donation and its about that amount.

ive seen that alot, where people get a fee without the donation included and then dont realize until later it actually comes out to more than they thought...our $500-600 donation is included
Our priest expects us to take him out to dinner...when we told him wear the RH is he insisted to be invited....he was serious...

well the whole donation thing is different in a christian orthodox church than it is in a catholic church
so far i know that ours is $400 for the church and $100 for precana but now im def going to call and see if the $400 is the fee or the donation and just make sure that we dont have to 'pay' anything extra. i think FH's mom is going to give extra anyway because she's super involved in the church.
