Ceremony Music

What songs is everyone using during the ceremony. I know that I want myself and the bridal party to walk down to Pachebel Canon in D....but I don't know what I want us to exit to or to have played as the guests are being seated. Any suggestions????

Re: Ceremony Music

FH and I are Lutheran and love classical music. We used a mix of both church hymns and classic selections for the ceremony.

For Prelude some of our songs will be:
Air on G
O' Perfect Love
Love Divine All Love Excelling
Trumpet Voluntary
(we told organist to improvise other songs if needed to suit the timing of seating guests)

Seating of the Mothers:
Sheep may safely graze - Bach

BM Processional:
Canon in D

Bride Processional:
Jesu Joy of Man's Desire

Entire Recessional:
Hornpipe

Re: Ceremony Music

i'm no help lol..
my bridal party will be walking down the aisle to 'all i ask of you' from phantom of the opera.. (instrumental) as far as i know..
but as for the rest FH wants me to walk down to the traditional bridal chorus.. (here comes the bride) and exit to the traditional choice as well..
i figured if its the one thing hes really asking for i may as well let him have it lol
