Ceremony musicians

We're getting married in a church but are not a huge organ fan and the church is open to having other musicians come in. Not sure what we're looking for so it could be guitar, harp, strings, etc. Our DJ company has some vendors but they're expensive. Any recommendations?

If you have a friend who works in a school or something... see if you can get a student to do it! They typically need credit hours or something. They technically can't accept 'payment' but you can give them a 'donation' and they're cheap. We're not getting married at a church... but my MOH's kid sister (who will be 14 and is basically like my little sister) is going to play guitar for us!

Check out capriccio ensemble. I think they may be a vendor on here. I'm not sure of their pricing but I worked two weddings that they were used at and they were very good.

M.A.S. Music!! Marie is great! I used them for my church ceremony as I am not an organ fan either. I opted for the violin cello duo but she has so many options you can choose from. I based my decision of which instruments to go with based on the song I wanted to use to walk into,

This is actually exactly what we were going to do if we got married in a church
