Ceremony & reception decor

My original vision was to have tons of additional decor pieces and signs. We are going for kind of the rustic chic look. Chalkboards and all. But now I'm concerned it's going to be so much to bring to the venue and then to remember to take it all back home! Is anyone else having this dimela?

You can ask your venue if you can drop everything off the day before or during the week of and if you can pick it up the day after. Our venue let us had us do that. It made things a lot easier. The only thing we took with us the night of was our cardbox, we didnt want to take everything else in the shuttles. We were staying at a near by hotel, so we went back the next day after check out and then back home.

Yes the venue usually allows you to drop off a day or two early and either take it home that night or the next day. just put aside a big box to put everything in so hopefully you dont have to lug a big box.

Most places let you drop off a few days before your wedding, you should just tell someone in charge where you want the signs that way they can display them for you and that is one less thing you need to think about. If you can not pick up after the wedding ask someone in your bridal party to take them home for you. I am sure your friends and family can help you out with that!!

Just make lists and label everything. My place wrote down what I brought it and I also gave them a copy of my list. I put labels on everything identifying the date, my room, and what to do with the item too. We will see how everything turns out! As long as you are organized it can be done.
