Ceremony Time...

Hi Ladies,

I need your advice. My wedding is July 6, 2003 and the ceremony so far is set for 2:30 PM, it falls on a sunday. Now my thing is that I want to push it up earlier to have more time but the thing is that there is a mass that ends at 1:30pm that day...it's sunday and the last mass for sunday is at 12:30 to 1:30...you figure by the time they all get out of the church it will be like 1:45/1:50. Do you think that's enough time to get the church decorated on time. The priest said it all depends on how fast the florist can get there to set up the flowers and put the ribbons on the first few pews. and i guess it all depends on how much flowers I decide to decorate the church with...you know? Or does putting 2:15 sound silly on an invitation?

Re: Ceremony Time...

I think you should stick with 2:30pm. This will allow the parishioners to leave and allow your florist time to set up. I don't think you would want your florist to rush setting things up.

Re: Ceremony Time...

That is cutting it close with time. If the previous wedding starts a little late you may run into a problem. Also you don't want your guests arriving while the florist is setting up???

Re: Ceremony Time...

I would leave it at 2.30...you don't want that kind of pressure on the day
