Okay...so I was in the liquor store earlier today and I came across this bottle. It is supposed to taste similar to champagne, but a little stronger. I can't remember the name...I think it's 'Nuvi'? It's a clear, tall, slender bottle, but the liquor is pink. And it says Paris under the name. So my question is...has anyone tried this stuff? Just curious about what it tastes like. I will have to go back tomorrow to get the exact name because when I do a google search nothing comes up.
I have had it its a glorified wine cooler with a little more kick in my opinion... I mean it was good ... but VERY sweet! and I like sweet drinks but this was super sweet.

YESSSSSSS!!!! That's it! Hmmm...It's really sweet? It has 15% alcohol in it, though. I will have to do a search on it now to see what the reviews are. Thanks, ladies!

Yea, but I just read reviews online...every reviewer said it's really sweet. I was curious b/c my MOH LOVES champagne...so I thought this would be a cute gift to add to her BM gift...but not if it's really sweet. Oh well!

Did you want to use it for a BM gift cuz it's pink only? Because Asti is AWESOME, it's sweet but not tooooooo sweet. Also Pugliese vinyards out east has a great sparkling blush.

OMG I have a bottle in my fridge right now.. I'm going to go take a sip and get back to you on this!
I also just saw an episode of a bridal show and they had this on there! Perhaps it was a preview to a show.. either way I saw it on WE today!

It's good - I had to add some sprite to it when I had it - to drink it straight it was a little strong for my liking!

Re: Champagne?????
Ok... so the bottle is $28.99 (or at least that's what the sticker says). It's pink champagne but it doesn't bubble like normal champagne does. The bottle is cool.. and it's nice that it's pink but it doesn't bubble.
I don't like wine or champagne and the only thing I do like about champagne is that it bubbles.. so i was upset about that.
FH and I each took a sip.... he said it was OK. I didn't care much for it.. but champagne gives me MAJOR hearburn so it's not my thing. It has a little kick to to... it takes a tad strong, even though it's only 15% alcohol. The side of the bottle says there is white wine and vodka in it.. and something else I can't remember, but it had to do with the French... If you want I can go take another look at the bottle to see the ingredients. FH said he might like it more if he wasn't eating coco krispies when I made him take a sip. The first thing he said was 'What's in this?' Ha ha! It doesn't look like champagne in the glass but it is a pretty color!
I think if you are looking into this you should just try it. A friend went to a liquore store and bought this not realizing it was champagne.. I think it was the cool bottle that attracted her to it.... and it ended up in my fridge.

Ha ha so you found it to have a little kick to it as well! Yea it was surprisingly strong for 15% alcohol... and I am a drinker! It even smelled strong when i went to take the sip. But You don't have to listen to me about this.. I'm not a wine or champagne drinker.

Re: Champagne?????
Hmmm now I'm intrigued. Ali, I'm not looking for a pink bottle per say. I just liked the bottle b/c it was feminine looking AND b/c my MOH loves champagne. If you know of any other champagne that is really good (but not too expensive), please let me know. Thanks! =)

Re: Champagne?????
I should have specified, the Asti isn't pink...the brand I like is Martini and Rossi, like the vermouth. It's not very expnsive, maybe 20 bucks, probably less. It's a sweet champagne, but not sickeningly. When I need to buy champagne as a gift or for a party, that's the one I turn to, so only one I really can recommend.

This one one of the bottles we tried for favors...right now it is one of our top 2 choices. This is also what I will be drinking at the wedding.

Re: Champagne?????
I tried it and I really disliked it. Normally I LOVE champagne but to me it tasted like a mix of champagne, vodka and cheap fruit punch.

I love LOVE champagne. I dont like the sweeter ones so I stick to Brut. My favorite is Gloria Ferrer but Korbel is another one of my inexpensive favs. HTH!
I bought it for a Valentine's Day basket that I'm making for my friend's shower (each bridesmaid took a holiday to make a basket of decorations for the bride's house). When I bought it I asked the guy in the liquor store about it and he said a lot of people keep it cold and it tastes like a flavored vodka almost. We'll see!
